Outstanding GCSE success

We would like to congratulate our students on their tremendous GCSE success.

All of our performance indicators continue to improve with 46% of our grades being 7, 8 or 9 (national average 21%) and 88% of all our grades being a grade 4 or higher.  The progress made by our students is again considered to be ‘well above average’ by the department for education.  Our attainment score now places us within the top 4% of all schools in the country.

Below are some key highlights:

• Attainment 8 score: 61.8pts (top 4% in the country)
• Progress 8 score: 0.67 (top 7% in the country)
• Grade 5 or above in English & Maths: 73% (top 5% in the country)
• EBACC average point score: 6.1 (top 4% in the country)
