Made in Brunel: Graduate Exhibition – Year 12 Product Design

On Friday 12th June, our Year 12 Product Design students visited the Made in Brunel Graduate Exhibition, where they explored an inspiring range of innovative final-year projects. From products designed to encourage young people to spend more time outdoors and away from screens, to a sound-effects padel racket and a timber strap developed for the construction industry, students saw how design can solve real-world problems.

The exhibition showcased work from students studying Industrial Design, Product Design and Product Design Engineering. Our students also enjoyed a fantastic tour of Brunel’s impressive design and engineering facilities, spoke with graduates and course tutors, completed an origami activity that was later incorporated into the AI lecture, and attended an insightful session exploring the growing role of artificial intelligence in design.

A brilliant day of inspiration and a great opportunity to see where creativity, engineering and innovation can lead.
