Information for Students
Tailored Support
You can book a one-to-one meeting with our Careers Education Lead, Miss Ayazzy-Shamloo, to discuss everything from subject choices, post 16-18 options (further studies) and career paths.
Your sessions are private and designed around your individual needs, so you’ll get the advice that works best for you.
Interactive assemblies and sessions
We regularly host careers-focused assemblies alongside local employers, colleges, and further education to ensure students in all year groups are constantly raising their aspirations and get to learn about all different sectors and careers.
We also invite alumni students who can speak about their journey and what they do now.
Careers Curriculum
Careers is integrated into the school curriculum through our PSHE lessons, for all year groups. With tailored lessons, carefully constructed to be shown at vital times of each year, students can benefit from these lessons.

Labour market information (Apprenticeship widget, Careerometer, NCC)
Labour Market Information (LMI) tells us about the world of work — what jobs exist, what skills are in demand, how different careers are changing, and which industries are growing or shrinking. It includes details such as:
The types of jobs available locally, nationally, and globally
Average salaries and working conditions
The qualifications or skills employers are looking for
Future trends — like where new opportunities are likely to appear
Understanding LMI helps students make informed decisions about their future education, training, and career paths. By exploring up-to-date information about different sectors and roles, you can:
Discover which careers are growing and have good prospects
Match your skills and interests to real opportunities
Plan your next steps with confidence — whether that is choosing GCSE subjects, post-16 options, or university courses
