Why does Careers Education matter?

At our school, we believe that Careers Education is about more than just choosing a job — it’s about preparing students for life beyond the classroom. A strong careers programme helps every young person understand their strengths, explore their interests, and connect learning to real-world opportunities.

Through meaningful encounters with employers, further education providers, and workplace experiences, students gain the confidence and skills they need to make informed choices about their futures. Careers Education raises aspirations, broadens horizons, and ensures that every student leaves school ready to take their next steps — whether that’s into further study, training, or employment.

Our goal is simple: to inspire, inform, and empower every student to achieve their full potential.
