As a school, we are always trying to promote the importance of protecting our environment, and that is more prevalent than ever during this year's Earth Day. On Monday the 22nd of April, we will be celebrating Earth Day, the theme this year being ‘Planet vs. Plastics’ which is all about advocating for an end to the widespread use of single-use plastics as they are damaging to our environment and to our health.
This year at MHCHS, we will be promoting and celebrating the day by involving the student body in environment-themed quizzes during
form time and by putting up posters of interesting environmental breakthroughs! We hope to raise awareness around the importance of making eco-friendly choices as individuals, as a school, and as a society.
