Economics

Economics at GCSE follows the OCR (9-1) specification, whereas at A Level Economics follows the Edexcel A specification.

GCSE economics consists of two written exam papers:

  • Introduction to Economics, a 1.5 hour paper with a weighting of 50%. To assess introduction to economics and the role of markets and money. There are a total of 80 marks available on the paper.
