What is it all about?

The School Sports Partnership is a project which enables every secondary school in Barnet to work with primary schools in their area. This benefits all schools, bringing funding for special projects and out of school hours clubs. The partnership has funded several courses for teachers in the Borough and brought in coaches. It also helps schools achieve their national targets for participation in high quality PE and sport.

SCHOOL OF THE MONTH
We were nominated as January’s school of the month by the Barnet Partnership because we started an Archery after school club, a Gymnastics breakfast club and introduced new year 7 inter house
competitions.

For this we are to receive a certificate and £100. We have already spent the money on introductory Self Defence classes for our Year 11 KS4 PE groups, who relished the opportunity it provided them with - money very well spent!
