Poetry and Music Evening

All parents are warmly invited to attend the Mill Hill County annual Poetry and Music Evening on Tuesday 7th July at 7:30pm to celebrate the achievements of our young poets across the school. This event will involve a selection of poetry readings from the finalists of our annual poetry competition, as well as a selection of musical interludes.

The categories for the poems this year are:

Past, Present and Future
Fantastic Beasts
Inspired by William Blake
What is Love?
Best of the Year

Winners from each category will be judged at the end of the evening. This year however, the audience will be asked to cast their votes to select the winner of the Best of the Year category.

Poetry and Music Evening is a highlight of the school calendar and a terrific opportunity for parents to experience their children’s academic and extra-curricular involvement at Mill Hill County High School. Tickets for the event will be on sale outside the main hall at 6:45pm on the evening and will be priced at £3. We do hope you can join us for what should prove an inspirational evening.
