BBC School Report
On March 11th, 25 Geography students at MHCHS are taking part in the BBC News School Report. The project involves pupils choosing and writing their own news stories which can be published as website articles, podcasts or video clips. On the day, the students will be working to a deadline, publishing their stories on this website by 1600 GMT, so please save the page below and return to it later to view their stories. The best school report stories from accross the country will be shown on BBC1, on the 6:00 pm evening news.

FYi is a free information service for families, children and young people up to the age of 20. Directme is an online directory of information on services in Barnet for children, young people and their families. This includes after school clubs, activities and childcare information in Barnet.

Lunchtime Recitals
The latest selection of lunctime music recitals will be taking place over the Spring Term. Tickets, which are free, must be obtained in advance. Students will be able to obtain a ticket, for themselves only, at school reception. Parents and governors are warmly invited to email Mrs Maureen McCanlis, Director of Music, to request tickets.

Exams Information
The new Exams page which, although is in the early stages of development, can be found under the curriculum tab. It is hoped that it will have useful information for students and parents regarding examinations. Initially we have listed the JCQ notices and warnings to students, a key dates calendar detailing various deadlines for this academic year and information on community languages. Eventually we will list periodic changes and news as received from the exam boards and school information.

Language Exchanges 2009-10
There is very little time left to sign up for the French Exchange. Many have decided to participate for the second year in a row, even third year!
